Christmas is over and the new year is around the corner. wow we had so much fun on christmas mercedez loved her presents a piano a mic make up (fake) a purse a dvd and a cd lots of clothes. i got rockband for ps3 and a Gibson Electric Guitar amp the pirates blue ray set and the children of the promise series and lots of other things andy got bbq stuff clothes and car stuff. all in all it was fun. we ended up waking up early on christmas thanks to mercedez unwraped presents and slept then we went to mother and father betts' for christmas day and then for the evening we went to mom and dad coopers my sister ended up deleting all of my pics grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr angry like no other but ya i had fun visiting family. now its time to take the tree down so there is room in my house and go back to normal. im not to excited for that but oh well got to do what i got to do. have a good holliday. love you all

winters paradise

So today was the first real snowfall in town wow!! I am so happy !!! Mercedez went outside and had such a blast. Im glad she is finally old enough to play in the snow. i just need to go get her some winter snowsuit and boots and gloves so she can play. but ya i took a few pics a couple were just of trees at my house with the snow piling up on them so ya enjoy.

30-Did you go Natural or have a c-section? emergency c section mercedez got stuck in a wierd way and i had only stayed at a 2 for 3 weeks and then 4 for the whole day i was in there.

31- What was your first reaction after giving birth? haha i was so exhausted from the hard labor for 4 hours that the epidural kicked in and i ended up falling asleep on and off through the surgery that when i saw her i turned to andy and said "SHE'S WHITE!??"

32- How big was the baby(s)? 7lbs 6 oz.21 inches long

33- Did your Husband cry? Not that i saw

35- Does her name have any significant meaning? it was the only name that fit our last name that we both agreed on

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had so much fun at Grandma and Grandpa Betts' house yesterday. Mercedez was at first verry hesitant to be around her Uncle Nick and Aunt Tawney. She eventually started easing up and playing and sharing food with her cousin Cooper. We ate dinner then took our nap, after that was when the real fun began. Cooper, Mercedez, Austin, and Camie played like they were old friends and like they always are around eachother (even though its a rare thing). Tawney, Becca and I ended up playing JENGA and boy did I have it coming. They stratagized against me. I lost deeply but it was a blast. When we got home Mercedez helped me put the tree up. That is our own Thanksgiving traditon. We did that while Andy slept. We had a blast and glad to say I am verry thankful for the wonderful people in my life and the wonderful in-laws that I have. I am most thankful for the hansome husband and beautiful daughter that I am with day in and day out.

bed time

We finally decided to convert Mercedez' bed to a todler bed yesterday. I was so glad that we fianlly got it done I was so scared that she was going to climb to the top of her bed and fall out.

She was more excited than we were to finally have her "BIG GIRL" bed. She would climb up on her bed then jump off and say WHOA!! then do it again. But when it came to bed time I was sooo worried that she wasnt going to stay in her bed so i pulled all her toys out of her room (she was verry mad that I did that).

We gave her kisses and hugs told her we loved her she did the same then we closed the door and put the gate up right outside of it. I was verry supprised when she fell asleep like usual!

But my poor baby ended up falling out of bed 3 times last night. but since it was her first night I was verry proud that she was a good sport about it.

I am hoping that we can all get through this soon and that there wont be anymore falling out of bed, im just glad its only less than 2 feet away from the ground.

sorry im venting

Sometimes i get so sick of trying to explain myself and what i dont understand to my husband. everytime i say that i dont understand what he is saying he flips out and tells me that if im not trying then hes not going to help and if im going to act "dumb" all the time then i will never pass my classes and get my degree. Its so irritating that i give up trying to explain myself. But then its me being dumb right ugh!!! i wonder sometimes why just why!! why cant he just calm down and let me explain or just for him to try to slow down and tell me without getting mad and giving up on me. i have had lots of people give up on me but when he tells me that he is giving up on me then i want to give up especially with communication wowo you wouldnt belive the stupid fights over commuication! i mean i try my hardest i know he does too but woah its like there is this shield or something holding him back and the closser i get the further he jumps back. i dont know what to do ugh its so hard not having a friend most of my old friends got chased off or i gave up trying to be friends because he hated them but i at least let him keep his friends or i just kept my opinion to myself about them. and there are other times when you cant talk to the family that is there because of a biast situation for both people i talk to. its nothing against them its just who do i vent to anymore. i cant thats the thing and it is frustrating. even when it comes to diciplining the gurl i try everything but when he diciplins it works me nope i just get told no and funny looks and hitting he gets the results he expects. and its like i dont do it and i dont know i guess this is my way of venting to someone who isnt face to face to watch me go through my crying or anger emotions or sometimes both. just to let it out in writing like i always have done. but sometimes that is so hard to do when you want someone to comfort you and maybe tell you it will all be alright. all i want is just to understand him and for him to understand me better.

how im feeling right now

well its all about me this time. I just got done applying for college classes at the usu uintah basin center. im planing on majoring in Elementary Eduaction Early Childhood Development and minoring in FCHD im so excited!!!!

the tribe is helping pay for classes so that will be wonderful.

ok now about my family I just cant wait until we all get together next week. I have a gift im giving my mil and I hope she really likes it.

After that its my favorite time of year CHRISTMAS!!!!

I love the feeling I get when im putting the tree up (no real tree the husband has alergies. )

and the music. oh and the movies!! oh and in general the feeling it puts out. im excited its mercedez' 2nd christmas. how fun!!!!! and i think its our 4 or 3 christmas together as husband and wife.

The Duchesne County Lions Club put on a fundraiser for my cousin and her family.

They have been having such a hard time lately.

Thier house was falling apart,

and the insurrance denied them any help.

The husband lost his job and wont start his next for a while.

The baby has a rare disease called Aicardi Syndrome.

Only found in females.

Well I was so grateful when I found out

that they were going to help.

We had the dinner tonight.

So we went to Grand Junction yesterday to visit my husbands friend and his wife. Well we took the baby with us and I was so supprised at how fast kids can get attatched to someone that they jsut met. We had so much fun watching her and her new FRIEND. It got me thinking that friendship means soo much to people. Finding someone that you can talk to or just hang out with. I then thought my child and husband are my two best friends and there is nothing that I would want differently.

To sit back and look at my family enjoying eachother is a great thing. I love watching her and her dad playing around or just sit with the same looks on thier faces. Then I think that its amazing that only 20 months ago she was just an itty bitty thing in my arms leaving the hospital. I love you both I think as I go back to doing my duties as a wife and mother.
