A Dads Poem Her hair was up in a pony tail, her favorite dress tied with a bow. Today was Daddy's Day at school, and she couldn't wait to go. But her mommy tried to tell her, that she probably should stay home. Why the kids might not understand, if she went to school alone. But she was not afraid; she knew just what to say. What to tell her classmates of why he wasn't there today. But still her mother worried, for her to face this day aloneAnd that was why once again, she tried to keep her daughter home. But the little girl went to school eager to tell them all. About a dad she never sees a dad who never calls. There were daddies along the wall in back, for everyone to meet. Children squirming impatiently, anxious in their seats One by one the teacher called a student from the class. To introduce their daddy, as seconds slowly passed. At last the teacher called her name, every child turned to stare. Each of them was searching, a man who wasn't there. "Where's her daddy at?" she heard a boy call out. "She probably doesn't have one," another student dared to shout. And from somewhere near the back, she heard a daddy say, "Looks like another deadbeat dad, too busy to waste his day." The words did not offend her, as she smiled up at her Mom. And looked back at her teacher, who told her to go on. And with hands behind her back, slowly she began to speak. And out from the mouth of a child, unique. "My Daddy couldn't be here, because he lives so far away. But I know he wishes he could be, since this is such a special day. And though you cannot meet him, I wanted you to know. All about my daddy, and how much he loves me so. He loved to tell me stories he taught me to ride my bike. He surprised me with pink roses, and taught me to fly a kite. We used to share fudge sundaes, and ice cream in a cone. And though you cannot see him. I'm not standing here alone. "Cause my daddy's always with me, even though we are apart I know because he told me, he'll forever be in my heart" With that, her little hand reached up, and lay across her chest. Feeling her own heartbeat, beneath her favorite dress. And from somewhere here in the crowd of dads, her mother stood in tears. Proudly watching her daughter, who was wise beyond her years. For she stood up for the love of a man not in her life. Doing what was best for her, doing what was right. And when she dropped her hand back down, staring straight into the crowd. She finished with a voice so soft, but its message clear and loud. "I love my daddy very much, he's my shining star. And if he could, he'd be here, but heaven's just too far You see he was a policeman and died just this past year When airplanes hit the towers and taught Americans to fear. But sometimes when I close my eyes, it's like he never went away." And then she closed her eyes, and saw him there that day. And to her mothers amazement, she witnessed with surprise A room full of daddies and children, all starting to close their eyes. Who knows what they saw before them, who knows what they felt inside. Perhaps for merely a second, they saw him at her side. "I know you're with me Daddy," to the silence she called out. And what happened next made believers, of those once filled with doubt. Not one in that room could explain it, for each of their eyes had been closed. But there on the desk beside her, was a fragrant long-stemmed pink rose. And a child was blessed, if only for a moment, by the love of her shining star. and given the gift of believing, that heaven is never too far.

Big news well important big news today may not be important to you but it is to me. MERCEDEZ WENT POTTY LIKE A BIG BIG GIRL TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was at work when Andy texted me and asked if i had changed mercedez' diaper today i said no she was still sleeping when i left for work at 730 so i asked him why he said that when he got up there was pee in the toilet i originaly thought he was kidding so i asked what one it was hers! he said it was full i came home and whoop dee doo there it was! im so happy soon there will be noooo more diapers!!!!!!!!!!! ok thats my big news have fun everyone

my life

Wow its been such a crazy past couple weeks. Work is fun i just got moved to days last week so i work a set schedual 8 to 4 in the after noon but whats good about it is that if my reliefe shows up in good time i usually get to go home about half an hour early so thats nice. then i have just been up to no good haha ya right. i wish sometimes. mercedez is getting crazy good at singing and dancing and her favorite song to sing is twinkle twinkle little star. we went to my grandpas house the other day that was fun she helped me and my two uncles play rockband wow how interesting, ive been working on throwing ALOT of stuff away and all that. im not really excited about spring cleaning but someone has to do it. so i have been working on it in between working a 6 day week and also i have a job offer so im thinking on taking it for the summer. that would be great i think. im a little worried about the rigs but that will pass if andy can find a good rig to go to i have come to terms with him possibly moving away for a couple weeks at a time but ya got to do what you got to do. sad i know but ya. i have also been loosing friends right and left my friend mia wow thats tough thats the hardest one to deal with, we have been friends since we worked at mcdonalds together and he is just being a terd right now and he wont listen to me and my feelings on how hes been treating me and the same with my friend virginia i mean really what is so important that you cant talk to your kids' godmother. but yet you always talk about me. she ignores me because she got married to some jerk who treats her like crap and he also caslls his ex and tells her he loves her and blah blah blah. oh well screw her is waht i have come to . i am so done with people i care about who dont show me the same thing so ya. forget them. i guess until they want to show me that they care for me. well i have rambled on and on so i will ttyl

just me

Wow has it been a long time or what? I have just started getting more hours at work and its been okay. i work mondays through saturdays 8-4pm its alright i do kinda work with a jerk sometimes but its a job. i also work nights once in a while only when they need me so this week i am working 1 night 330 to 10 thats when we close. and then i am also going to the gym now its my seccond day today. and i got two people who will be dragging me along ha i guess they are my inspiration ha ha. i wish. no i just need to loose the weight so i figured when i got the invites i jumped at the opprotunities. ha. i do like working though with jody she is da bomb thats exploded multiple times ha. (i have also noticed i have been saying ha alot lately ha ha) what a dork i am but you know what i love it.ha oh well i will start to post my pics of clean house every week maybe twice a week ha. ya. dont forget the post i put with the gift.

32- How big was the baby(s)? 7lbs 6 oz 21 inches long

33- Did your Husband cry? nope he was laughing just like everyone in there

ok so sometimes i get confused. i dont know what to do about the friends i have. i wish i could stay mad at them but for one it took about 2 years almost for me to not be mad at him anymore. the other im just frustrated with she tells me oh ya i will talk to you ill call yada yada yada. and i never get any results i try to talk to her but i never get anything but oh im too busy i havnt had time. ya right i now for a fact that she is always out partying never with her kids kinda chick. i dont know maybe im just frustrated its so hard to get out there and make new friends that dont just string you around. sometimes i feel lonely. i enjoy talking to the family but sometimes i feel like i need someone i can be myself with party have fun just talk whatever.

baby shower

well thats one of 2 baby showers this year. and who knows how many else i will have this year. Im so excited for kaylas baby to come. then amys oh and the wedding in the middle of them both ha. im happy that this year i will not be celebrating valentines by myself cuz i will be at a wedding!!!! yay. well the baby shower went great yesterday considering that it was a busy busy day. im still recovering from it all but everyone loved the baby shower.

wow how crazy has life been? Well i got a job at ellies its a gas station in roosevelt utah. wow it is so much more relaxing than working at checker auto. and its only 3 days a week not bad only nights. and christmas wow. new years was fun i guess. and in may im going down to st george. thats going to be fun i get to see my adorable nephewe!!!! and sister inlaw and brother inlaw. im excited mercedez wo that kid is crazy growing like no other. i dont know what to do it feels like i buy clohtes for her but she grows out of them so fast. oh well. and Tawney what were you thinking letting Nick shave his goate haha oh well. wowo ya anyway i think thats all for now.......
